Is there anything wrong with being selfish?

Hey everyone! Welcome back to my blog once again! Hope y’all are having a great day! Today I am here to talk about selfishness, a choice considered by most people as wrong! But why? Is being selfish wrong or right?-

So first Let’s talk about what selfishness really is-

Selfishness is the act of caring about yourself and profiting yourself. A person is often considered selfish when the action involves someone else getting hurt and that is the main reason why selfishness is considered bad among most people…

But is selfishness really something bad?

Well, the answer to that is no. And I can expect many people to get shocked by what I just said but it is true! Selfishness is not always bad. Because even though it results in bad outcomes or consequences, selfishness boosts a persons self-worth and ego. Not all people need to be selfish but the people who are too selfless and are destroying themselves being that need to learn to be selfish because this way they can understand themselves better and learn how to deal with people in a not so kind way! It is important even though it might not seem like it.

Selfishness is important because It teaches you to build your own zone and your own space to help you develop faster and learn about the world more! Not only that, you also learn to balance your personal and social life because it is very important.

Just remember that sometimes doing something for yourself isn’t bad, because you have to lose something to gain something! And with that thought… I’ll see you soon!
