Habit Making: Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How do you motivate yourself to get work done after trying many things and failing over and over again?
Ans- It’s simple, You have to find a srtrong enough reason to fight for and you must search for hope! We often look at the complexity of a situation and the chances of it being unfavourable to us, That is why we are never able to go far and achieve the thing we want to! The simplest solution is to look at the things that are still in order and the things that are still in your favour. Even if the situation is not in your favour, yet you have your own support and yourself to help you achieve what you want to achieve. There is always going to be atleast on thing in your life that is going to be favourable to you, you just have to be willing to look at that and be happy for having that. Pride, self-trust, hope, confidence…. These are the only 4 aspects you need to move in your life and these are the 4 aspects that differentiate between a successful and unsuccessful person! Never forget that!

2. What is your best advice on keeping focused on the importance when the distractions in our lives are constant?
Ans-When you really have a goal that you want to pursue then you really don’t need any advice to help you get off the distractions that come in your way from achieving that goal. The mistake that we often do is that we get too lost in getting what we want as quick as possible so that we can move forward to our next goal. This vision of life leads to 2 major problems- 1. You mess up things when you try to do them as quickly as possible, 2. You don’t have an ultimate goal, You are basically going for what you want to have and not thinking about the fact that it might not even be useful to you later. Having a final goal and making sure it has a strong, powerful and unforgettable reason makes it impossible to get distracted from the work and keeps you focused.

3. What do you do when you used to love your work, but passion has been killed by work/life balance issues?

Ans- The solution to this problem is just to choose between them. When you are doing something you love and something is coming between that and stoping you from doing that then you must choose to either do one of them or learn to live with both of them. And If your passion is killed due to work/balance issues then what you can do is either start of new or remember the reason why you loved that task! Sometimes it is necessary for you to forget your reason to do the thing you love and also hate it so that when you get up, you get up a hundred times stronger and more dedicated than before!
